Newsletter – July 2018

The first half of 2018 has been eventful!  With Prosperity Academy now complete, we have hired a Head Master for the school, Peter, along with several teachers.  Peter started May 1st and has built an excellent rapport with the Village Chief, villagers and the children.  School starts September 12th!  Also, the teacher's housing will be wrapped up shortly.  

In June, we held our second annual golf tournament; the proceeds added solar panels to the school, providing power in the village for the first time.  In addition, the first set of desks for the kids were completed and delivered.  

Our second annual fundraising dinner will be held on October 25th.  Please let us know if you would like to attend or host a table.
